The Sewing Machine Project
The Sewing Machine Project graciously donated SIX (count ‘em, six!) sewing machines and one serger to The Ned Workshop. They lovingly refurbish sewing machines and make them available to organizations like ours. We are delighted to share these machines with you at an upcoming class or market. A massive thank you to the entire team for empowering us to create, play, make, and learn!
Boulder Library Makerspaces
We take inspiration from our awesome friends at Bldg 61 and Studio 24. With their support, we have laser cut our sign, CNC’ed material for our woodshop classes, and printed stickers — all for free! Be sure to visit them when you’re down the hill!
Art Parts
Most of our workshop supplies has been donated or comes from Art Parts in Boulder. This second hand craft store gives us a generous donation to help our nonprofit reuse materials and keep our costs low.
SewBo
When we can’t find material second hand, we shop local! SewBo has been an awesome partner for all things sewing related and has gorgeous fabric options for your next project.
Eco-Cycle / CHaRM
The second hand garage of our dreams! We have sourced wood, tools, and metal from our pals at CHaRM. They are also a great place to check out if you have things you need to donate or get outta your house.
